Future Leaders 2018/19 final show!

Next week (8-14th April) sees our third cohort of incredible young artists complete this year’s residential programme with us; drummers, dancers, and visual artists coming together to create a brand new final piece – world premiere on Sat 13th April at The Vale!

Exciting gig season coming up – gigs announced!

After a recent 6-week trip to Brazil, I’m back and full of beans! I’m delighted to announce a huge list of Skutch Manos gigs from May onwards, as well as Jubacana, Juba do Leão, and Global Grooves events gradually being confirmed as the sunshine makes an appearance. Join me!

Juba do Leão gig season kicks off!

Fabulous to kick off the new gig season on Saturday, a local gig at Moston FC entertaining the footie fans! It was also a first Juba gig for our newer drummers and dancers! They’ve been working hard learning the music and routines. Totally smashed it, woohoo!

We’ve got some super exciting gigs on the cards including a night time performance at the NOW Dance event with Cheshire Dance, Glasgow Encontro, Brazilica, an outing at HOME’s takeover of the National Theatre River Stage, and many more!

Skutch Manos at Buxton Taphouse tonight!

Looking forward to another good old sesh at Buxton Taphouse tonight (SK17 6AY)! We’re on around 9:30pm and will be taking the crowd into the night with badass beats and our new Led Zeppelin medley (Bonzo lives!). Tomorrow evening we’re playing again at Gather (CW12 3BN), a beautiful little bar in Congleton with fizz, paella and smiles (and a bloody lovely crew of staff to boot). I’m really enjoying this tour and all three of us have been mega chuffed to get back on the road, share our sound with some brilliant crowds, and reconnect with some of the best intimate live music venues the Northwest has to offer – our favourite kind of set up! More gigs to be announced soon as a result of this mini-tour!

Next week: Thurs 26th at Number 39 Hopstar Brewery in Darwen (BB3 2AA), a private party do on Saturday, and at The Con Club in Altrincham on Sunday (WA14 1RZ).

The Skutch Manos gigs roll on! 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st April, and more!

Thanks everyone for coming to check us out at Matt & Phred’s in Manchester last night, it was a blinder! Next gigs coming up are:

This weekend: Saturday 14th April at Cafe No. 9 in Sheffield, and on Sunday 15th April at Blakey’s in Stoke!

Nest week: Friday 20th April at Buxton Taphouse and Saturday 21st April at Gather in Congleton!

The Skutch Manos gig season continues!

Join us this Thursday (12th April) at Matt & Phred’s in Manchester for pizza and mega live music! Then get a second hit at the weekend with another outing at Cafe no. 9 in Sheffield on Saturday 14th April! We’re excited to play our new Led Zeppelin medley again after a tip-top first blast at Central Bar last week. Our brand new album ‘101010’ will also on sale. See you there!

Thank you Central Bar, Wigan!

We loved playing for you and your fab audience of craft ale drinkers tonight! It was great to play our world exclusive Led Zeppelin medley tonight too! Next stop: Matt and Phred’s, Manchester (Thurs 12th Apr).
